Miss C wants to help!

Miss C. (Michael's sister)  has been wanting to make bead jewelry for a while now, so I finally bought some beads the other day.

When we sat down today for her to make a bracelet and necklace, she told me she wanted to make some more and sell them to help bring Michael home.  See above for her creations.

Oh our sweet sweet girl and her big heart!  :)

So for every $2 donation, you will receive a one of a kind bracelet or necklace creation by Miss C., age 4.  See Blue Chipin on right hand side bar.

Just leave a comment or email us at minnie.goofy@comcast.net and indicate if you want a bracelet or necklace or maybe even both!  :)

Thank you so much for encouraging Miss C. and for your help to bring Michael home!

God Bless.

Happy 1 year Gotcha Day!

Don't forget to scroll down and pause the music player at the bottom of the blog before playing the video.

1 year ago today we were in a hotel in China chasing after the cutest 22 mos old little boy to become a part of our family.

I can hardly believe it's been a year already and yet is seems like he's been with us forever.  Mister has always fit right in with our family from the very beginning.  Our guide in China even said, "he belongs with you."

We are so blessed to have our little mister and continue to raise him up to become a loving independent individual who we pray will love God and follow His lead with his life.

We thank God everyday for this little boy that we call our son and love him with all our hearts!

Happy 1 year Gotcha Day Mister.  Momma, Papa, Jacob and Miss Magoo love you so very much!!

XOXOXO

Kingdom Kids Adoption Ministry

We were approved for a Kingdom Kids account!

What does that mean?

It means that donations can be made on our behalf and will be tax deductible for you.

Just be sure to put our names, Cathy and Cecil and our last name in the Designation box.  If you don't know our last name, please email me directly (minnie.goofy@comcast.net) and I will give it to you.

Click here to take you KKAM to make a donation.

I'm just trying to keep this blog somewhat identity safe as we have visitors (some we don't know) from all around the globe.

So PLEASE email me for our last name because without it, Kingdom Kids won't be able to credit our account with your donation.

If you would like to mail a check instead, do not put our names anywhere on the check.  Instead include a note with your check saying you want it to go to Cathy and Cecil and our last name.

Here is their address:

Help Leda and Todd bring Faith home!

Check out this wonderful family fund raising to bring home their 9 yr old daughter home from China!  See below the picture of their daughter..

In addition to the awesome song that was written just for them, they have this adorable dress available for a donation.  Check it out here. Then click on Custom Clothing to see the dress.

We're Leda & Todd Perry and we're fund raising to bring home our 9 year old daughter, Faith CuiMei, with Thalassemia - waiting in Guangzhou.

We've created an adoption song fundraiser on our fund raising site http://www.funds4faith.com/. We're selling the song "As Big As My Heart" on iTunes, but you can also donate via our chip-In to our adoption fund and we’ll send you the links to the amazing song written and performed by professional singer/songwriter Jaime Fox.

In return, we will “pay it forward!” When we receive our tax credit after the adoption is final in 2011, Todd & I will be writing a check for the total amount of donated funds we receive. Then, we will donate back to one of Jaime’s favorite charities, We Will Rise (wewillrise.org). So, you are not just helping us by donating to our adoption fundraiser, you’re donation will move forward to help another great charity working in local communities as well!

I also can do blog headers, custom invitations, scrapbook pages and frameable art for a minimal donation, and we have some other small fundraisers including t-shirt sales coming soon!

This our 2nd special needs adoption from China and we can't wait to bring her home to join her two big brothers, and little sister.

About the totes

I have just heard from the supplier that is putting together our totes and they are back ordered until August 16th.  See them here.

So in the meantime, I have new totes that are the same natural canvas with the colored handles and they even have an outside pocket.  But they are just a little different in size.

The dimensions are:  14.5"h x 14"w x 5.5"d

They come in the same great colors.  Natural / Black, Forest, Navy and Red.  There is no Royal, but a Light Pink instead.

I will go ahead and add them to the T-shirt and Totes page so you can order either one. Just remember the original tote is back ordered until August 16th.

Here's what the new tote looks like:

Natural / Light Pink
Natural / Black

Natural / Red
Natural / Navy
Natural / Spruce

Get the word out!

I have been wanting to do this for the last couple of days, but thought how much good would it do?  After all I don't have a lot of followers, not many people will even see this.

But God keeps bringing it back to me and saying, get the word out!  It doesn't matter how many few people see it, just get the word out!

So what am I talking about you ask?

Well I have created a page to post about others adopting and their fund raising efforts to bring their child home.

Even though we are not the only ones called to adopt and needing the funds, there are many others too.  So if I can pass that information on, so even just one family can get the help they need to bring their child home, how awesome that would be!

So if you would like me to post about your family and fund raising efforts to bring your son or daughter home, email me at minnie.goofy@comcast.net and I'll post it on my blog.  Include a picture too if you would like.

To start things off I want to post about a very special family and friends, Terry and Brad trying to bring their 13 year old daughter home from China.

You see we go back before they brought their son home from China and we brought home Miss Magoo.  We connected because of adoption but God knew exactly why he put Terry in my life.  Simply put, so I could find my way back to Him!

God has used Terry in big ways and especially in my life, more then she can ever know.

So please go to their blog Our Family Adventure and not only see about possibly to help with bringing their daughter home.  But also to see what a a great family they are!

Oh did I mention that Michael and their daughter are from the same Province?  Yep, they sure are!
