It seems like I haven't posted in awhile about where we are at with funds and our paperwork.

Our friend who has the Eb*y store was able to to sell some things from the box that a family donated to help us raise funds to bring Michael home.

Donna was able to raise $100 for us!  It actually would have been a bit less, but Donna was so kind and didn't charge us the fees associated with having an Ebay store or the fees for Paypal.

We cannot say thank you enough to Donna for doing this for us!  And to the family for donating the box of items!

Also, our Thirty-One fundraiser.  Trisha received some orders and was able to raise $45!  Again, we are so grateful to Trisha for doing this.  We are so blessed (yet still amazed) by folks coming forward wanting to help us.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

As for our paperwork, our home study should be done in a few weeks and then we need to have it finalized by our agency and then we apply for our I-800A and it goes to the USCIS for approval and we get our fingerprint appointments.

So with that said, we need $692 to pay to USCIS.

We are getting ready to set up our on-line auction soon and still looking for donations if anyone is interested in wanting to donate.  Please feel free to share with everyone you know.  You can email us at minnie.goofy@comcast.net or leave a comment to let us know.

We also want to say thank you to those stopping by our blog and following along to see how we are doing.

Please help my friend Stacy

My friend Stacy is waiting for travel approval to bring their sweet Solomon (that's him above in the pictures) home!  He's from the same Province as our Mister.  :)

I just spoke with Stacy and they still need $5000 before they can travel.

She is having another AWESOME raffle on her blog at My Cup Overfloweth with 62, yes that's right 62 prizes!!

So click on the title of her blog above and check it out and see if you can help with bringing Solomon home!

Also, please continue to pray they will raise all the funds needed and in time for when their travel approval comes.

Thank you and God bless!

Help Sponsor Michael

I was thinking today about how maybe you can help orphans and how maybe to help us bring our precious Michael home!

How about a monthly donation of say $20 a month?  Or any monthly amount you feel may be something you want to give.

I know it may be asking a lot, but pray about it and see what God is asking for you to do to help another orphan come home to his forever family.

We have a Kingdom Kids account where tax deductible donations can be made.  Be sure to put our names (first and last) in the designation box so we are credited for your donation.  Please email us at minnie.goofy@comcast.net for our last name and I'll be happy to send it to you.  Click HERE to take you to Kingdom Kids.

Or there is always the green Chipin button on the right hand side bar.

We are so blessed to be able to become Michael's family and want to say thank you for considering to do this!

Blessings from the W. clan

Miss C wants to help!

Miss C. (Michael's sister)  has been wanting to make bead jewelry for a while now, so I finally bought some beads the other day.

When we sat down today for her to make a bracelet and necklace, she told me she wanted to make some more and sell them to help bring Michael home.  See above for her creations.

Oh our sweet sweet girl and her big heart!  :)

So for every $2 donation, you will receive a one of a kind bracelet or necklace creation by Miss C., age 4.  See Blue Chipin on right hand side bar.

Just leave a comment or email us at minnie.goofy@comcast.net and indicate if you want a bracelet or necklace or maybe even both!  :)

Thank you so much for encouraging Miss C. and for your help to bring Michael home!

God Bless.

Happy 1 year Gotcha Day!

Don't forget to scroll down and pause the music player at the bottom of the blog before playing the video.

1 year ago today we were in a hotel in China chasing after the cutest 22 mos old little boy to become a part of our family.

I can hardly believe it's been a year already and yet is seems like he's been with us forever.  Mister has always fit right in with our family from the very beginning.  Our guide in China even said, "he belongs with you."

We are so blessed to have our little mister and continue to raise him up to become a loving independent individual who we pray will love God and follow His lead with his life.

We thank God everyday for this little boy that we call our son and love him with all our hearts!

Happy 1 year Gotcha Day Mister.  Momma, Papa, Jacob and Miss Magoo love you so very much!!

XOXOXO
