I was thinking again about what we have been called by God to do in our lives.
It so clear to both of us that God has called us to adopt. Not one, not two, not even three. But possibly four times. We may not know right now, but God has already planned it all out for us, so we will follow His lead.
I know this is not everyone's calling, adoption, but it is ours and we are following His lead to add to our family.
It just excites me to see how God is working in our lives to help us accomplish exactly that!
We rest ALL our concerns, worries, anxieties at His feet and say okay God take care of it please, we NEED you! We know we can't do it ourselves without You.
It is just amazing to us that this is our calling (for now.) We also know that once we are done adopting, God will call us to do something else.
Even with our children's special needs, we know that won't hold us back to following the path that God has set before us.
Do we know what that is? No, not right now. But I will say that we both have such a strong desire to do mission work.
I just know that God is working on us to eventually do that one day. Oh how I would love for our children to experience all that He is capable of, in other countries. Without all the gadgetry or gunk that we feel we can't live without.
But if it isn't Mission work that God wants for us, then we will leave it and again wait on Him to see what He has in store for us.
But I must say I can't wait to see what it is! :)
