Well it was Mister's 3rd birthday on Saturday and we just had our family spend the day together celebrating Mister's birthday.

We went for a Chinese lunch at our favorite local Chinese Restaurant and then tried to play at the park, but everything was still wet from the rain.

So we came home and had cake and ice cream and presents and while he and Miss Magoo played with his new toys, Momma and Papa relaxed.  Well as best we could.  :)

Happy Birthday to our sweet boy!  We are so blessed to have you in our lives!!

In November we took Mister for his checkup for his hearing and at that time we were told he had some fluid behind his eardrums and minimal hearing loss.  Which is not uncommon for cleft palate kiddos.

So we went back today to see the ear specialist and to have his hearing retested and good news!  Mister's hearing is in the "normal" range, no fluid, nothing!  Woo hoo!

So that means he won't need ear tubes, yay!

We also got updated measurements and he is now 26 lbs, 11 oz and 35 inches tall.  :)

1 year ago today we were in a hotel in China chasing after the cutest 22 mos old little boy to become a part of our family.

I can hardly believe it's been a year already and yet is seems like he's been with us forever.  Mister has always fit right in with our family from the very beginning.  Our guide in China even said, "he belongs with you."

We are so blessed to have our little mister and continue to raise him up to become a loving independent individual who we pray will love God and follow His lead with his life.

We thank God everyday for this little boy that we call our son and love him with all our hearts!

Happy 1 year Gotcha Day Mister.  Momma, Papa, Jacob and Miss Magoo love you so very much!!

XOXOXO

We went to the zoo this past weekend and what a beautiful day it was!  The sun was out, but not too hot.

This was Mister's first time at the zoo and he loved it!  We took the stroller, but he walked the entire day.  Needless to say Miss Magoo liked the stroller better.  Both were out in a matter of minutes when we left to go home.  Fresh air and lots of walking will do that to ya.  :)

One thing that is great about our zoo is you can bring your own food inside.  Which we did, packed a lunch and brought it with us and enjoyed sitting outside having lunch.

The kids had a blast and momma and Papa had a good time too.  It was so nice to just have a day outside and enjoying it with family.

We celebrated 3 years of forever family with Camie today!

It's hard to believe we've been home 3 years with her now! My how she has changed and grown.

She came home at 16 mos old and now just a little over 4 Miss Magoo has become a young little Miss.

She still loves music and dance and is now taking Chinese Dance and Language and she just loves it!

This is her outfit for her class.

We are continually amazed at how much she has learned and continues to learn! Seriously, she is one smart cookie. :)

We just fall in love with Camie more and more each day and we are so stinkin blessed to have her in our lives!

She is the BESTEST daughter we could ever!!!

We took Mister today for his first haircut since we've been home.

It is amazing how long his hair has grown in 7 months.

I wasn't sure if we should have it cut or buzzed so when I asked Mister, he said buzzed. You see he wanted it just like his big brother Jacob's hair and since his is buzzed...

As Mister was getting his hair cut, Princess Horsey kept saying how she thought he looked when we were in China. "He looks like a China boy." She is too funny. :)

So of course I kept a piece of his hair so I can put it in his keepsake box for years to come.
